Verity The App is MENA’s family financial management and literacy app with a prepaid card for kids and teens, powered by parents.
Children 8 - 18 learn how to budget and manage their money as they learn its value:
EARN: Children can earn money through chores and allowances set by parents.
SAVING: Saving habits are ingrained as they set saving goals for all the things they want to buy. Power up their savings by matching what they save!
GIVING: It’s never too early to teach them how to give back. Set Giving Goals to donate money or items to causes close to their hearts.
SPENDING: Children learn how to manage their spending by using their very own prepaid VISA card and deciding how much to put aside towards Saving and Giving Goals.
PARENTS: Parents have all the settings, notifications, and tools they need to create a safe environment they are comfortable with for their children to have real-life money experiences.
REGIONAL & INTERNATIONAL
The app is built with both our regional values and global citizenship in mind, and is currently available in English, with Arabic coming soon

SAFETY & SECURITY
We follow all the safety requirements as set by the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates. Our backend technology is VISA, PCI, and 3DS certified. Your funds sit in an account with our banking partner and are protected as per the UAE Central Bank requirements.
The Verity app offers plenty of parental settings, including:
- Real time spending notifications
- Daily, weekly, and monthly spending limits
- Card activation / deactivation
Children’s prepaid cards have enhanced security with:
- Card number, expiration, and CCV through app
- Chip and PIN-protected transactions
- Secure PIN recovery and changing in the app
- Bank-level encryption
- 3DS 2.0 on Online transactions
FEES
The Verity Core App is free! There is no cost to download it or order the prepaid cards. We believe in total transparency - that’s where our name “Verity” comes from.
EDUCATIONAL
Children learn by doing (experiential learning) as they use their own money with real-life money experiences. Our gamified financial educational content and games keeps them engaged as they learn.

- Now you can add a note to your transfer when you send money your family or friends. If you receive a transfer with a note, just tap on the transaction record in the Cards screen or the Account statement to view it.
- Adult family members and household members now have control over whether the family parents can view their account balance and transactions. You can change your preference from the Card Settings screen.

- Now you can enjoy reading excellent financial articles written by Verity team directly from within the app. The articles are filled with helpful financial tips and advices for both parents and children. Verity app not only helps you manage your financials, it also teaches you how to better understand money and how to manage it.
- We redesigned the presentation of card transactions -- They look prettier and easier to understand now.
- It is now possible to request a card directly after adding a child, without having to go to the Cards screen to do that.
- We fixed an issue in the "Request Card" form that was preventing some users from changing how their name will be displayed on the card.

- Now you can transfer money to your friends. Simply, scan the QR code on your friend's phone to be paired as friends. Once you are paired, you can transfer money to them at any time.
- We added a new Account Statement in the Reports section. It should give you a better overview on all the transactions and transfers that you performed.
- We also fixed a few other issues and did some minor enhancements -- You will notice them as you use the app!
